According to Steve Davis, the driver in the white firesuit with a red breast panel is Larry Dickson, from Marietta, Ohio. At the time of these pics, Dickson drove the orange #55 of Don & Dean Long out of Quaker City, Ohio. He went on to break A.J. Foyt's win record in the USAC sprints (subsequently broken by Tom Bigelow), and went on to race in several Indy 500's.  He is retired from racing, and is now living in Indianapolis, Indiana.
