Generally, I have no objections if anyone wants to use my 'stuff'. However, the images on my website can be grouped into four categories:

1. Pictures that I have taken at various racing-related activities.
2. Pictures taken of my family, work-related functions, or other personal activities.
3. Pictures supplied by others for me to display here.
4. Images on my site, such as banners, buttons, etc..

Let us consider these separately.

Group 1: Use these pictures as you wish. I do not want to have any restrictions on these, as my only purpose when I take them is to promote the sport, drivers, and sponsors. It would be nice if you are using them in print to credit me as the source. If you use them on a website, that credit could be to my website.

I am not in the business of photographic prints. The images in my galleries are suited for a website. This means that they are somewhat small in file size, (most resolutions are 640x480.) This is bad ju-ju if you are looking for a quality print. You can grab prints from my site and send them to a web service such as ofoto.com. They do a good job, but keep in mind that the source file has limited capabilities. If you are looking for a quality print, see a quality photographer....I am a mechanical engineer. I'll talk about angles of inflection and reflection until you are bored stiff, but I am clueless (and choose to remain so) about things like f-stop......

Group 2: If you want any of these...please contact me for permission. I am curious why you would want them. Otherwise, any of these shall be considered for your viewing pleasure only. Do not use them otherwise.

Group 3: We need to get the original supplier's permission too. I have them marked as to who supplied them. I can help here. As I write this, there are only a few pictures on my site in this category...and I am not convinced that the person that allowed me to scan them knows exactly what the Internet IS....so lets be sure to try to get permission.

Group 4: Like my personal stuff, I am not sure why anyone would want them...I once received a nice email telling me that my 'next-index-previous' buttons were 'hokey'.....well I thought about that for awhile....then I got a beer and......
